Forty-five minutes from the nearest stoplight, at the end of a towering canyon sits Telluride, Colorado (elev. 8,750′), a National Historic Landmark surrounded by the highest concentration of 13,000′ and 14,000′ peaks in the United States. Above the historic mining town of Telluride is a modern mountain village connected by a free pedestrian gondola, the only one of its kind in North America.

By Air
Most guests visiting Telluride choose to fly into the Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) which has a variety of non-stop flights from major airports in the country. We offer a private transfer from the Airport to the Town House in a private SUV (see rates below), otherwise guests can rent a vehicle for the easy 1.5 hr drive.
Additionally, the regional airport of Telluride has started regularly scheduled flights from Denver though United Airlines. The airport is only 10 minutes from the Town House, and we offer a complimentary shuttle to and from there.
Private Car Transfer
Guests staying with us may choose to make arrangements for our team to meet them at one of the local airports (Cortez, Telluride, Durango or Montrose) and transfer to Lumiere in a private luxury SUV or van (at an additional fee); or rent a car and explore the area on their own. The journey provides a glimpse of the Rocky Mountains not soon forgotten.
