IN WINTER
Winter at Lumière is shaped by proximity. The mountain is just outside, with ski-in, ski-out access in Mountain Village making it easy to move between the slopes, the village, and the quiet of returning in.
Some days begin on skis and stay there. Others widen into snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, ice skating, or time farther out in the San Juans. Whatever the pace, the season is led first by weather and light.

Snowshoeing
Snowshoe through the forest and open terrain surrounding the property. Routes vary in length and elevation, with flexibility to turn back or linger as conditions change.
Suitable for most experience levels.
Backcountry Skiing
For experienced skiers, guided backcountry outings are available when snowpack and weather allow. Terrain is selected for stability and snow quality..
